Our Information, Advice and Guidance service provides free and confidential support to residents on a wide range of issues, including housing, welfare and benefits.
We offer help with:
- Benefit checks and applications
- Universal Credit support
- Housing advice and queries
- Referrals to specialist or legal services
You can contact WIT directly to book an appointment, or attend our upcoming drop-in sessions at Mayfield House.
The service is delivered by a multilingual team fluent in English, Arabic, Swahili, Somali and Slethi, ensuring that residents from diverse backgrounds can access support in a language they understand.
We work in partnership with Tower Hamlets Housing, with two dedicated Housing Advisers based at the Town Hall and the WIT Mayfield Centre.
